About
Having lived in the UK for nearly 10 years since marrying photographer Victoria Upton, Armando has successfully combined his Cuban roots with his love of everything British. Armando, Victoria and their two young sons made the move from London to Dorset four years ago and haven’t looked back.
While working for employers like Stuart Craine Gardens (2006-2009) in Oxford, Armando set up his own workshop where he worked on freelance commissions such as kitchens, built-in cupboards and shelving for private clients.
Since arriving in Dorset, Armando has re-created his workshop to service private clients under his freelance work and has also worked for companies such as Guy Mallinson, Moore and Cousins Builders and James Verner. He also spent over a year renovating the family home.
Armando has worked in a multitude of settings, from creating a practical shelving solution to fit a particularly tricky space, to large-scale projects in association with various building teams.
